The Golf Gage ("the App") is a golf score tracking and group management app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the information you authorize those services to share.
Golf Data: Scores, rounds, course information, play day signups, and message board posts you create within the App.
We do not collect: location data, contacts, photos, health data, or any data beyond what is needed to operate the App.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide App functionality — displaying scores, leaderboards, play day schedules, and enabling communication between group members. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides encrypted storage and secure authentication. Data is retained as long as your account is active.
In-App Purchases
The App offers optional tip jar purchases. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase — backend and authentication
- Apple Sign-In — optional authentication
- Google Sign-In — optional authentication
Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon request, all your personal data will be permanently removed.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
